What is the best time to start learning English?

The simple rule is "the sooner - the better". Many scientific studies agree that the optimum age is approx. 2 years.

Won't it be stressful for the child to start without speaking any English?

Children at this early age approach a foreign language completely differently than older children. During adaptation process verbal indication represents approximately 20 to 30% of overall communication (depending on the child's age). Other components of non-verbal communication, such as context, gesticulation, mimics, but also friends, enable the child to observe or anticipate situations. Of course, this process is also supported by qualified and experienced teachers. The adaptation process takes several days or weeks. We approach every new child with utmost care and help him or her to fully integrate into the kindergarten's environment.

Should I talk to my child in English at home or prepare in another way?

If your family is not bilingual, it is better to talk to your child in his or her mother tongue. For a child it is essential to develop mother tongue skills. You should talk to your child a lot, read books together, play together, comment on the world around. We can recommend more communication strategies that are simple to use to support the speech development of your child. Our teachers will support and strengthen your child´s English language skills.

How are children allocated to their classes?

Based on their age and developmental stage children are divided into four classes so they can receive the necessary stimuli for healthy development. Beneficial for their learning process are also activities and events where age groups mix and work together.

How many kids per teacher are there in a class?

There are five children per teacher on average. At our kindergarten we are committed to safety and individual and kind approach. For this reason all classes have two full-time teachers.
